Beginner
During beginner instruction, the student will learn a series of yoga stretches, asanas (poses), and flow sequences, with special attention to proper alignment and breathing techniques (pranayama). Emphasis is on sun salutations, balance and streching, working toward ever-greater flexibility. Students will also gain basic knowledge of yoga history and philosophy, if so interested.
Beginner instruction is based solely upon the needs and boundaries of the student.

Vinyasa
Students will learn vinyasa flow—the sequencing of asanas with the breath.

Mixed Levels
Students will incorporate a variety of active and restorative yoga sequences, based upon their needs.

Yin Yoga
Especially encouraged for those students who are ‘flexibility- challenged,’ yin yoga provides for deep stretching that goes beyond the muscles and into the body’s deep connective tissue. Yin is also highly recommended for athletes, golfers and those who consistently engage in weight-bearing work-outs. Remember, flexibility is the key to longevity, according to Eastern wisdom.

Guided Meditation
