Mindful Child
The New ABC’s—
Attention + Balance = Compassion*

Each session includes yogic movement, games, storytelling, and guided meditations designed to support children’s ability to attend and focus in the moment, to self-regulate, and to reduce stress.  Research on mindfulness-based practices indicates demonstrated efficacy on developing executive functioning, supporting compromised attention, and enhancing resilience to social, academic, and familial stressors, as well as increasing children’s ability to manage stress and to become “happier, kinder, and more compassionate”—towards themselves, as well as towards others.

Contact Chris to inquire or to arrange for private or small group instruction (1-4 children/teens).  No class session scheduled at the studio for Spring 2011.

Pre-registration and payment of tuition required at least 48 hours in advance.  Call or email Chris for details.
